boot scootin boogie

Preseason has officially started and I'm pretty excited about it! We had a game on Monday and we will have another on Friday. This heat isn't much of help, but hey, it's Texas. Have to get used to it. But I haven't had that much time to go out and show off my clothes, which is a problem because I need something to blog about. But last night was a girls night out/team bonding, and we all went country dancing. Everyone was in their boots and we all 2 stepped :) Some people may think that boots are just a Texan thing, but you can wear it with the right outfit and make it look very fashionable! 

Last night I wore jean shorts from (forever 21) with a white tank top that is layered at the bottom with brown beading from (Firefly) and of course I wear my brown boots from (Cavenders). My roommate Madeline has on a pink floral romper from (Target) with her brown boots as well! Brown boots are my favorite because they can go with almost anything! Sun dresses go great with boots, and also the classic jeans and a cute top. Some people say that boots are just too pricy, but when you think about it, these boots will last you a good couple of years, so it's a good investment. Also boots can be worn at any time of the year! 

I know cowboy boots aren't in the New York Fashion week, but they are something fun and actually can be very stylish :)
