Velvet is always a good idea

I know what you're thinking.... "Ew, it's Monday" If thats not what you're thinking, it's MOST definitely what I am thinking. The weekend went by too fast if you ask me. I am trying to think of some positives for today so I have something to look forward too. I can tell you that I am looking forward to binge watching This is Us season 1 and 2 before the 3rd season comes out, so theres that. 

So you guys know, or should know already that Francescas is one of my favorite stores, and of course I found something fabulous that I HAVE to show you guys. 

This is a black velvet embroidered off the shoulder dress from Francescas for less than $50! Every time I go into the store I have no intention of buying anything, and then I saw this! They still have some left in stock, and online they are having a 20% deal!  What a bargain!!

I think the sleeves make the dress, it is something very simple, but makes the dress pop. I seem to have a theme going on from my last post because I had the black embroidered leather jacket. :) But this dress fits very well and I love the length at where it hits. I think that this is such a fun dress to wear at any occasion. Date night or out on the town with your girlfriends! I paired the dress with my maroon over the knee boots, but I think that black or even a pop of color of a red boot or heel would look amazing! 

Whats also important to me is that the elastic from the sleeves don't bunch back up on your shoulders like most off the shoulder tops/dresses do. Once you set it off your shoulder it stays that way! So, for me that is a bonus!
