2018 Resolutions
HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2018!
Wow! I can't believe that it is already 2018, I just got used to writing 2017 on everything. I hope that everyone had a fun and safe New Years.
I know that new year resolutions are a huge topic and can at times be a little cliché, because the biggest one is "Health Grind"and by mid February everyone says ehh I'm over it. Let's be real, we have ALL done this. And I'm not saying there is any wrong in having that as your goal of the year!If that is you, the you go for it because its a great goal! But I wanted to talk to you guys about some of mine that I have.
1. Learning a new language: I recently got back from Italy and I met a guy in a taxi and he said that everyday for 30 minutes he watches an American kid program on Youtube and learns english with his kids. That made me realize that I should be trying to learn a different language and giving an effort to learn the language of the places I want to travel too. I am also Italian so I guess I should learn the language!
2. Giving to God: I have always had this is the back of my mind but never knew what to do. I want to give back to God in whatever it may be. Offering at church, mission trips, quiet time with Him, devotionals everyday, church daycare. Whatever it may be, I want to work harder to do that. Don't think that I'm keeping a tally, "Well, He did this for me so I have to prove myself". No. I just want to be able to give back! :)
3. Read: I have always been a book worm, but I have felt like I have been so busy and I end up watching TV on my down time. I miss reading all these stories and connecting with a book. Sounds pretty cheesy, but if you are a book lover then you understand.
4. Travel: Who doesn't like to travel?! Well, I really want to plan out my travels and just go for it. Save up the money and travel. Yes it can be pretty expensive, but if you budget and plan everything out it works! I just want to be able to go to all the place that I have always wanted to go or to re visit. I don't want to wish later in life that I could have done this.
I'm sure I could come up with a million more, but I have to keep myself accountable for these things first! But I think that this is a good start and I will find a way to remind myself everyday to try and achieve these this 2018. I hope you guys have some great ones as well :)
Now lets get to the fashion part! I know I know, this is what you have been waiting for.
It is finally beanie season! This weather has been perfect and I am so excited because I may or may not have about 6 beanies... Shop Nordstrom for my beanie that was only $10! And I wear this one all the time because it actually stays on my head and never falls off.
This look is a street style look that I have been wanting to show you guys for a long time now. I made this look pretty sporty and casual. The crop sweatshirts are really in style and sometimes I wear this sweatshirt to the gym, it's actually perfect! This crop sweatshirt is from H&M for only $12!
Black ripped jeans are from Forever 21 for $10! And these jeans are so comfortable and soft! I can't believe I found this bargain!
I hope you guys stay warm today because it is freezing outside in Dallas!
XOXO Miss Bargainer
