Brunch and Mimosa's
Happy Sunday everyone!
I hope you guys are having a great day so far! I have started my day off with a morning workout and then my family got together and made a healthy brunch... plus the mimosas... those are healthy right?
Anyway, we cooked protein blueberry pancakes with fresh fruit and of course the bacon. But the pancakes are so healthy for you! They have 15grams of protein in them! And they really taste amazing, and I will for sure be making these again. There are ways you can make healthier pancakes like that, you can use actual protein powder and mix it with almond milk, or mash up bananas and add a little milk and makes pancakes that way! You would think that all this is expensive, but it really isn't. Having a healthy breakfast in the morning with lots of protein is the key to a great day.
Watermelon is so good for your body because it is made up of 92% water, meaning that it is very low in calories and sugars. Fun fact about watermelon is that it helps control your heart rate! And I always love having cold watermelon at night (If I ever have it in the house) and have that for my sweet snack.
So lets add this all together...
Protein pancakes: 15grams protein- $5 at the store
Banana Pancakes: $1.00 for 5 bananas
Almond milk: $3.00
Protein Bag: $30
Watermelon: $2.99
Berries: 2 for $5.00
If you buy all of that then you will be good for quite sometime, you can even meal prep it and make a lot and freeze it and have it for whenever you need it!
