Bonjour Paris
I have finally made it to Paris! Actually yesterday was my first day but I was way too tired to blog... sorry. But WOW is this place beautiful! It really is like you're looking at a post card. Everything is so beautiful and the architecture is amazing. After a long 8 hour flight I landed in Paris yesterday and I took a shuttle to my host families home. My host mom lives right on the canal! She lives in a 2 bedroom apartment that is very comfortable and the house is so pretty. Her name is Madame Dugan and she is really sweet and has a great personality. The biggest culture shock Im having is the time change which is normal and I am trying to go to bed at a reasonable hour but I have to time it out correctly. So far everything is going well, the subways(metro stations) are the most confusing because there are so many stops and you have to know where you are or else you will have to take a long joy ride till you get back to your right spot. But the food here is delicious, you cannot go wrong with eating here. My goal is to try Escargot.... incase some of you don't know what that is, it's snails. My first reaction is exactly the reaction you are having behind your computer screen. But apparently they are really good and have so much flavor that you don't even know that it's snails that you're eating. But my goal for this next month is to keep you tuned in with my journey around Paris and possibly some other countries :)
My first day of class starts tomorrow, I'm pretty nervous but I know that I will love it! My first class is Photography which will be a lot of fun because every day we will be at a museum or a park. And my other class is fashion! I'm really excited about this class as well! But I will keep you guys updated on my classes, fashion and the beautiful city!
Au revoir!
