High waisted shorts

TGIF! well I guess it doesn't matter if it's Friday or not concidering it's summer time, but it's force of habit. Anyway this summer has been great so far, I have been working and working out and laying by the pool... Sounds pretty great huh? :) Today the US Woman's soccer team play today and I have to say that I am pretty excited! I guess you could say that I dressed a little spirited today with my red white and blue haha 

Today I have on blue high waisted shorts from H&M with a white striped crop top from H&M as well, followed by red converse and a messy bun :) 

High waisted shorts are coming back in style now and usually are worn with a crop top. You don't have to wear a crop too but that is usually the style so you can highlight your stomach and your legs. I personally like the style because it's very old fashioned. And the clothing styles from the past are coming back which I LOVE! The look is also very fun and I think can be very stylish and comfortable :)
