V-day Outfit

Here is some motivation for your Monday..... Valentines Day is just around the corner! If you don't have a significant other then you can go on a best friend V-day date :) 

This year I'm getting crafty with the gift ideas, because Ryan and I just spent a big portion on our New York trip that we just got back from yesterday. It was all worth it! But, if you are trying to save some money, the crafty way is the way to go! Pintrest has always helped me out when I needed some good DIY ideas. It is always the thought that counts, and it doesn't have to be something HUGE! Here are some quick and easy gift ideas for him:

1. Bake heart shaped cookies or a cake

2. Date Jar- Popsicle sticks with different places to go on date nights and put them in a mason jar

3. Vday boxers, chocolate and a traveler coffee mug

4. Picture frame of you two and have memories written around it

5. 5 senses bags: Sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing; label bags or boxes with the 5 senses and put something in it that represents it! For example: Sight- Movie tickets 

Those are just a few simple and on budget gifts that are super cute :) 

So, over the weekend Ryan and I went to New York City! In my opinion, one of the greatest cites in the world :) It is my dream to live there one day. It's a tad expensive..... 

BUT! Ryan had never been, so it was amazing getting to show him around and getting to see everything. One of my favorite places is Central Park. Once you get into the park, all the sounds and city life disappears and its really relaxing :) One of the outfits that I wore to the Broadway show, I think is perfect for a Valentines Day look! 

I have been dying to show you guys these amazing tights that I bought in Italy! Tights like these are really coming into style, and they are sold in places like Target, Forever 21 and Nordstrom! I just love the pattern on them, they add just a little something to your style. 

I am wearing a high waisted burgundy skirt from Forever 21 for only $20, as well as a grey turtleneck sweater from White House Black Market !  My grey satchel purse is from the boutique The Impeccable Pig. If you have never been, they have some really cute things! They are located at The Shops at Legacy.  This outfit is perfect for you perfect Valentines Day date :) 

These biker boots are from Steve Madden, they were a christmas gift from awhile back, but these boots have lasted me for a long time! Just like I have said in my previous posts about boots... always buy the expensive leather boots, because they will always last you a long time!
