When In Rome

I can't believe that the Christmas holiday is already over! I know we still have New Years to look forward too, but I feel like Christmas is something we all plan MONTHS ahead and then it just goes by too fast! I hope that everyone had an amazing Christmas! For me it was something that not a lot of people can say that they did. My family and I celebrated Christmas a little differently this year, it was a good change though! We went to Rome for 10 days and spent Christmas eve at the Vatican!

My family is Italian, so you can see the excitement is was to be able to see Christmas eve mass at the Vatican! Even though I didn't understand one word(all in Italian) it was something so incredibly special, and something that I will always remember. :) I wanted to show you guys a little of my trip and show you the amazing history.  I hope you enjoy!

This picture is really cool because behind us is a map of Sicily and my last name is written on that map! Kind of cool to actually see family history! Yes, I'm famous.... autographs later....

Every time I see David it just amazes me that this was once a piece of stone, and it was made into something beautiful! The fact that there is the detail of muscles and veins is amazing!

I walked up 463 steps to get this view right here, it was all worth it! I might have broke a sweat, but the view of Florence is breathtaking.

I have so many more photos, and it is just so hard to capture the view in a photograph! But this trip was truly something special and I am so blessed that I was able to experience this. I hope my future holds more traveling.

I hope you guys have a great rest of your day!
